Once you are signed in, open the “Map” tab and select “Driving.” You can now start navigating! To get started, simply follow the blue lines on the map. As you drive, Waze will keep track of your current location and will offer suggestions for routes around your current location. You can also use Waze to find parking spots, traffic conditions, and more!
How to set up
1. Open Waze on your phone.
2. Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the app.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Traffic.
5. Under “Traffic Type,” tap Road and then tap the type of traffic you want to use Waze for: Motorists, Bicyclists, Pedestrians, or All Traffic (which includes all types of traffic). If you want to use Waze for only one type of traffic, tap that type and then tap Use This Traffic Only. If you want to use Waze for all types of traffic, tap All Traffic and then select the type of traffic you want to use it for.
6. Under “Use this traffic only,” select which roads you want to see in Waze: All Roads (including those with no traffic), Primary Roads (the main roads), or Secondary Roads (the secondary roads that connect with primary roads). If you want to see only certain types of road on your map, such as highways or bike paths, select those types under “Use this traffic only.” You can also choose whether or not to include tolls in your map by selecting Include Toll Roads from the same menu item.
How to uninstall
To uninstall Waze, open the App Store on your device and search for “Waze.” Tap Waze and then tap the “Uninstall” button.
